Alcohol, tobacco, and other substances negatively impact athletic performance. For children growing up in insecure home environments, a sports club, company or organisation can serve as a sanctuary. Similarly, some leaders or parents in recovery from substance abuse may rely on the company as a safe, supportive space. For these individuals, it is especially vital that the organisation remains a haven free from alcohol, narcotics, doping, and tobacco.

Guidelines

Artemis Archery’s stance on alcohol and drugs is unequivocal. We aim to reduce overall consumption of these substances and, by doing so, minimise their medical, economic, and social harm. Any non-medical use of prescription drugs, narcotics, or doping substances is considered abuse and will be addressed accordingly.
